I thought it was interesting that:

1) 49% of Republicans said they would consider voting 'third party' if it looked like the G.O.P. nominee couldn't win.

2) Well over 1/3 of Dems. said the same thing about voting third party if it looked like their nominee was a loser.

3) Lowest percentages of the voting public (since the recorded history of polling...) are registered with EITHER GOP or Dem Parties. Highest percentage of Independents.

4) And that THE LAST Third Party candidate to win election as President of the United States was Abraham Lincoln.

(As far as Bloomberg goes --- don't know much about him as a politician [know more about his business career]. Just know that polling says that the citizens of the city he governs now say they prefer him 2 to 1 over their preceding Mayor....)

he wouldn't win but his being a third runner could make a difference in who wins.
