10 yr hit 5.25% earlier. Housing bust gets worse. Global inflationary pressures continue even as BB tries to protect the dollar. Whether we even head into recession this is bad for financial markets.. No way out IMHO but global nominal GDP can still motor forward? Mish's thesis was totally wrong yet on his blog he constantly makes brags about being right. Right perhaps on predicting the housing bust along with a very large group of other people. By now almost two years into a housing bust we were suppossed to be in a serious deflationary debt cleansing downturn with high unemployment and long term treasuries at 3% or less<g>
