The President of Afghanistan is not the CIA, MI6, Stratfor etc. Your pulling a bait and switch if your trying to use his statements as evidence for your assertions about what they say.

Now, the C.I.A. and British Intel., etc., are not really in the habit of 'creating policy' by throwing big splashing press conferences like that, and explaining what's going on in the world to the general public

True, which provides a good explination about why they might not have made the statements you said they made, but it still means that they DIDN'T make the statements you said they made.

A strawman. I never said there was no evil in Pakistan, or that support for the Taliban wasn't comming out of the Pakistan, or even from some people in government (esp. the ISI).

Do you think Musharraf supports the Taliban?
