Hi Peter,

You know, I'd rather be rich than poor; especially re: health care.

Right now, I've been out of work since October, searching for a job that would even pay lower than my previous one ( I was laid off in a " divisional restructuring ); haven't found it yet and right now, I pay a significant amount of $$ for my COBRA payments which run out in 3 months.

I'd rather use what capital I have left to start my own business which I've always wanted to do and suspect would be successful.

If there was some form of single payer or universal plan that, indeed, saved untold billions, I'd be for it. It would also enable me to embark on my own entreprenerial(sp?) endeavors.

There are models that do work and others that don't. Germany, e.g., yes---Canada, somewhat. Clearly, the Hillary BS in this arena hasn't changed. Check this: when my COBRA ends in October, my monthly cost for a single white male will be $788/mo.

So now is crunch time and will be taking a job which is way beneath my capabilities ( you gotta do what you gotta do ) and previous salary range. How much more fruitful it would be if my business model would take off and be able to hire more folks to make it grow( all paying taxes ). Just some ramblings, now that you bring it up.

In any event, forgetting about me, I still believe the election will be predominantly about global issues and, to put it squarely where it lies, war. This trumps all, imo.

Thanks for sending me the article. Now back to sending off resumes. :-)
