I have this persistent dream that I step off the plane the day the revolution starts. There is a report on the 6 o'clock news about touristas being captured, and there I am, with a camera around my neck and in handcuffs... I have that same dream about Russia. That's why I only plan to visit St. Petersburg.......which is on the northwestern tip of the country and very close to the border. ;-)
