I don't believe otherwise. But I think FTC believes otherwise. I believe it is likely ValueClick will compromise with FTC. ValueClick has already released information that suggest that some of the practices had been curtailed already, and in which case the question is does it improve or detract from the bottom line. Time will tell, and that suggests to me a delay before any suitor makes a bid. That is how I came to my conclusion, you may of course come to a different conclusion.

I also suspect the bond rate jump that effected the market sell off yesterday also signaled increasing cost for borrowed funds, and hence reduced activity for leveraged acquisitions. This may also put further pressure on ValueClick shares in the short term.
