Ted, > I am curious.......did anyone ask you about Bush when you were in Europe?

At this one Italian restaurant, there were two other parties besides me and my wife. There was this British family with two parents, two grandparents, and four children. Then there was this family from Texas with the mother, the mother's sister, and the mother's daughter.

The Texas family engaged the British family and us in a conversation. One of them states where she's from, and then says apologetically, "I didn't vote for Bush."

Her sister then says, "I did."

My wife then says, "I didn't."

I then say, "I did."

We all got a laugh out of that.

Other than that, no one in Europe asked me about Bush. They probably see the headlines and know that Bush is very unpopular among Americans these days, especially those who care to venture across the pond.
