there is absolutely no credibility on either side of the aisle WRT border control...that's why the immigration bill as written is so hated....experience has shown that border immigration enforcement it totally ignored due to the hispanic vote lobby...the more illegals in the country the less impetus to enforce our immigration laws...

Well, some would argue that what amounts to a thousand dollar minimum fine for a misdemeanor isn't amnesty, but semantics aside, what "favorable tax status"?
