There is also the continuing guilty feeling of the political class over the Holocaust? After a while the guilt wears thin. And since the US Government was complicit in allowing the Muslims to walk away from their part in the Nazi War Machine. If Islamic Leaders had been prosecuted for war crimes, it would be much easier to convince Liberals of the danger of Muslim hopes for an all out religious war.
