re: I think many is unlikely (although the word is not exactly precisely defined), at the very least that means a majority. There is no way that most people who fly or otherwise display a confederate flag want a restoration of slavery. Its too common of practice (even if it is in decline) and there aren't that many supporters of slavery.

How do you know?

And flying a confederate flag is the first clue...
