This is all short term traders. Fact is I look at a fair amount of gold stuff and no one is looking for gold that isnt profitable at $400 or less, just like no one is looking for oil for more than $40 a barrel. I would hardly call a 2% decline "dropping like a rock". I stopped listening to radio news of business cause they never say increased or declined- its always soared, plunged or tumbled all this for sub 1% changes in whatever index.
