I have been keeping an eye on AGI as it falls. It may simply be a case of the 'post production syndrome' where a smaller gold company somewhat loses it blue sky potential in the eyes of the investor. Way back when, the thought was 5+ M ozs and a sale to a major. When that does not happen the luster seems to come off the junior as it transitions to a producer. The focus is no longer on a quick reserve build up and that means 'boring' to a lot of investors...just my opinion of course.

AGI had a production shortfall at the end of the 4th quarter. It impacted their finances at the end of the first quarter. They seem to be having trouble understanding the geology in the south zone and now have focussed on the north zone and are currently trying to expand their resource. At least this is what I understand. Currently at 3.2 million ounces, I think.
