sandi, There have been indians in New York a long time before there were any white men. They need to understand who it is that makes it possible for those freedoms that we have every day of the week. If we did not have a dedicated military, we would be speaking speaking the Kings dialect and who knows what may have happened to us if we did not have the military to protect us. Just a little side talk. Even though the Indians were defeated in New York, they have a special place in the growing of all of those huge buildings. It seems that when the tall buildings were needed in New York, they couldn't find enough to build them because of the height, so they contracted for the Senecas, and Mohawks to do it for them because they had spent a lot of times in the mountains.
