These are ground squirrels and they hit the flowers primarily.. Petunias are a real delicacy it seems like to them.. So we have put them in the so-called "rabbit proof" garden which I chased a rabbit out of last evening. LOL.. Plugged up another hole.. We will see. Oh, I have taken a break from politics since our trip. I just got tired of it.. Same ole.. same ole, it seems like. We will get two "establishment" like candidates once again on both sides, so nothing will really change on the big issues, like runaway defense spending, the war, health care, environment, etc... The candidates, I like, like Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul?, etc. will not have a snowball's chance, so I might have to sit the big dance out.. :( I will probably get energized again though, I always seem to do. :) Take care, m
