They'll have to choose that for themselves, especially if they want to join the rest of the multicultural world. Unfortunately, the post-modern politically correct movement wants to go one step further and control people's thoughts and words. Ironically, they help create an outlet for those who want to express their hate and outrage at society by defining what is offensive. You miss the point. No one who opposes racism really believes it will change the mindset of a racist but to ignore it......to not take stand, gives them, and more importantly, those growing up the false impression that racist beliefs are okay.
