I've taken a stand all right. It's time to stop trying to make this society so sterile and non-offensive to anyone. It's time to start growing a backbone and gaining some real self-identity and self-esteem.


Ignoring the problem is not taking a stand and there is nothing sterile about confronting racism.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."

Need I remind you that Asians are better educated than whites but on average make less money in the workplace. Do you still think racism is a minor problem that brings color [excuse the pun] to what would otherwise be a "sterile" society?

Your attitude sounds like a copout to me.
