Yup agree. However(!), Bush, might be a hard act to follow - not because he was good but because of the mess he is going to leave behind. I see no good solution in Iraq. Furthermore as time goes on, it looks as if any solution becomes more and more difficult - even politically. Republicans only message anymore is ...."what happens if/when we pull out". They could be right. Even the economy which has been doing great under Bush (although one could - and I do - argue it is an economy based on borrowed money) looks to be near a downturn of some kind. And the debt! Who wants to take on a country at the turn of a business cycle after the reckless spending of the last 6 years? And taxes- oh my gosh are they going to wish at some point they had some cushion in taxes so they could cut. If democrats get Pres, and both houses........?
