To me the issue is a little larger than the use of one word. I come here to dialog with people. My personal opinion is that it adds NOTHING to the conversation to simply insult people and not even add any point to the conversation. One who has a high insult/point ratio deserves to be shunned from all civil discussion. They end up being simply a disturbance to any exchange of ideas. Sometimes it feels like their INTENT is to disrupt open discussion, to intimidate people in to silence.
