all in sync to the downside, this looks bad. it smells of a budding panic, especially considering tomorrow's 'currency manipulation' certification report on China.

as to the 'the money must go somewhere' argument, it is in fact going somewhere. to money heaven.

tomorrow, Schumer & co. are expected to unveil legislation intended to force China to revalue the Yuan (in an upward direction), thus ending the 'every day cheap prices' shtick of Wal Mart and other evil capitalists.
it's possible that the recent bond market gyrations and the stock market swoon in their wake are connected to this.
what i want to know is, does Schumer have index puts?

foreclosures jumped 19% month-on-month nationwide, and 30% in California. year-on-year, California foreclosures are up 350%. oh yes, the housing bubble is on the vicious bust cycle slope. you know, the 'non-bubble' (as goldfish, Lereah et al. kept telling us, there never was a bubble).
