<Your sole purpose seems to be disruption> My sole purpose is to point to the vacuous and circular definition of inflation you drag around with you as ideological baggage. You do not refer to inflation as defined by persistent changes in price levels -- on the contrary you retreat to a position of monetarist purism whereby inflation "is" changes in money supply, completely divorced from changes in prices. If you want to refer to changes in money supply, great, refer to changes in money supply. If you want to talk about the extraordinarily interesting trends that drive inflation (persistent changes in price levels) then you had better drop the pretense that money supply is the causative be all and end all of inflation.
