Turning coal to liquid was definitely one of Obama's early interests that he supported fully. I remember reading the articles and thinking this seemed out of character for a liberal Democrat. That sent me to the stock boards to research and ask questions about the method as well as Popular Science to read about coal to liquid. Check out Peabody Coal and RTK------this is what they are working on now. The do-gooders fail to recognize that the United States is not the same from state to state. Each area of the USA has varying energy sources that can be used and should be used. Technology is continually advancing in the use of these resources. Rather than sending us back to primitive times lets move on with developing our technologies and utilizing them. Obama does have some dancing to do here--------step back, side step, move forward, move back, do the hokey-pokey and turn your self around. So where does he end up? mj
