No. Why would you think that? No doubt, they've been around for a while, but they were first identified a decade or so ago. IIRC, there was a group who was going to breed them. I dunno how successful they were.

You are right, CJ and BTW, blue would normally be associated with cold(er) anyway ;)

The article stated that this specimen was carried to a local aquarium, where it joined another 2 lobsters at display.
