Are you proposing that we somehow evict 12+million individuals? If so, how would that be done? There are not enough buses in the country to do it and where would we send them? Dump them on the Mexican border? What kind of incredible crime would develop there as vast poverty would ensue, not to mention disease and pestilence.
I dont have a problem with Bush's plan, its merely THE TIMING. I along with I believe ALL AMERICANS wish to FIRST build a decent border control system, THEN address the illegals in this country. While at it we IMMEDIATELY ENFORCE stiff penalties against employers hiring illegals. If they have no jobs they likely will drift back home on their own. jdn

So, your talking about spending at least $20 Billion to deport every illegal in the country? AT LEAST.

Also, you won't mind the recession that comes about because of this?

I know this stuff SOUNDS wonderful in theory, but it's just not going to happen.
