The idea that having wealth or using it is offensive, is an idea that at least has a connection to socialism.

As for the rest of your post, even if I am misreading the public, and they do find displays of wealth to be as offensive as ""a 'ho displaying her wares", that still doesn't address my point.

Assuming for the sake of argument that "flaunting of wealth" is as offensive (either in an objective way, or in the minds of a majority) as prostitutes "displaying their wares" and picking up tricks. Its still important to recognize the difference between doing either action in public spaces, and invading someone's private space against their will with either action.

If you recognize that such an invasion is worse then you are admitting that flaunting in public spaces is not as bad as "a 'ho displaying her wares in church" (even if it might be as bad as "a 'ho displaying her wares on the street).

If you don't accept that invading private spaces with unwanted activity is worse then your being rather unreasonable.
