Geez....you stalk one senator with a rifle and the cops really get bent out of shape <g> If you work on your aim I've got several more to suggest. :-)Seriously, I spent the last 5 days in the hospital with a massive infection in my jaw. It was a medieval experience. I had tubes hanging out of both arms, the inside of my mouth and they were talking about sticking one in through the exterior of the jaw. I mean really! It's 2007 and the instruments they use on your mouth still look like something that should be in a TOOL video on MTV. I started to get better yesterday and they cut me loose today. MY Oral surgeon was mad at me for going to ER on Saturday The POOR guy! You probably broke his perfect record of killing all his patients! but I had a 101.5 temp, pain killers weren't working and I was getting sicker. I think he felt a little put out - tough. I felt a little put out by looking like elephant man for the past week. This is abnormal? :-) Several neighbors have been by to see how I'm doing and to ask if they could do anything to help. My response has been the same - Sure - you can mow my yard and clean my house. Since neither is currently being done I must assume they meant - can I do almost anything to help. Since I live in Madison I was forced to watch Air Moscow for 5 days (CNN) WATCH IT, BUDDY! Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck are on there! Some thoughts about the news - and other stuff 1) Can they really put a 17 year old in jail (a high school kid) in the slammer for 10 years for doing the wild thing with a 15 year old (a high school kid)? Wouldn't all of us have already done 10 years hard time...oopps...that didn't come out right...jail time? Wow - SET HIM FREE WTH you babbling about?2) The DA in the Duke Lacrosse case should lose his ability to practice law. Wromg. Hanged. Only permanent solution. You don't know but what some court would screw up and give him back his license.3) Has Bush lost his mind on immigration? Yes. The Democrats want the bill passed so these people can do the work other Americans don't want to do? Does that fall under slavery or racism? 50-50? Nobody better ever call me a racist again. We need to protect our borders even if we need to use armed dummies to scare people off. Hey! Don't laugh - it worked on Gilligan's Island. Two fences with a thick mine feild in between?4) Syria - why can't we just put the world out of Syria's misery. They've bought our Congress?5) Exit plan for Iraq - head east and fire every rocket (non nuke) we have until the remaining 10 people can only have slingshots for weapons. Don't stop heading east until we've crossed into Iran and can totally finish off Tehran. What's this "non nuke" crap? Sissy!7) If Hillary wins we can look forward to MediHill. You think your med care is bad now? Wait till FEMA takes it over! Think of DMV crossed with kidney dialysis.8) If our Healthcare is so bad then why do Brits fly to Florida when they're sick? It's a standing joke in Miami. Tough to get sick on a Doctor's schedule let alone your country's It could take a year before Montrealers seen shorter waiting lists for heart surgery. The Montreal Regional Health Board says the lists are 28 per cent longer than last year, and some patients are waiting far too long for cardiac surgery. There are 656 people on waiting lists for cardiac surgery in Montreal. Three months is considered the maximum time a patient can safely wait for non-emergency cardiac surgery. Yet 58 people have been on the list for more than six months. cbc.ca MONTREAL - When you go for a haircut, you don't expect to be still leafing through a magazine four hours later waiting your turn. If the supermarket lineups grow too long, the store generally opens another cash register. But when it comes to medical treatment in Canada, there is no guarantee how soon you will get served. That could change today with a Supreme Court of Canada ruling on whether the right of Canadians to "life, liberty and security of the person" means that nobody should suffer agonizing pain for a year while waiting for hip surgery. osgoode.yorku.ca !OpenDocument"Access to a waiting list is not access to health care" opinionjournal.com Canadian Health Care System Fails Court Test heartland.org What are you b****ing about? You could be Canadian! Hey, that's trhe world's greatest health care system, remember!9) To a Person people want me to sue my Docs involved with this oral surgery - I talk tough but I don't sue people. You think he's going to pay attention just because you're griping? All I want is to strap him in one of his chairs and for him to allow me to work on his mouth with the same set of pliers he did mine. How long did you plan in doing in that cage?10) If you get sick don't go to the Hospital! You don't get time to sleep and get better. No ****! I spent the weekend before last in the hospital. When they aren't coming around to wake you up to measure this or that (what are all those leads attached to me and that telemetry unit for, anyway?), the cleaning ladies are shouting at each other down the hall. One at each end. This at 3 AM. OR about nurses and nurse's aides are gathered outside the room to have the world's loudest gabfest. Or they can be 6 rooms down. They're so loud it doesn't matter. I didn't start to recover until AFTER I got out and could get a decent night's sleep. With all their education they can't figure out you need some rest to recover? On the day thet released me, I was planning on simply walking out if they didn't. I'd had it. Oh. They also did their best to kill me along the way through dehydration and plunging blood pressure. The dlots couldn't figure out what the trouble was and my cardiologist had to be called in. It was obvious to him in about a minute. They come in at 5:45, wake you up and walk you like a dog. They wouldn't let me walk. The bed was alarmed so if I got out of it, it went off.I didn't have a nurse! I had about 18 of them. With every shift change, I got a new one. Not that it mattered. This must have been a fill in from a kennel club down the block. The female ones generally weren't too bad- -when they could speak English. The male ones looked like they hadn't shaved in about 2 weeks.
