It was a medieval experience. I had tubes hanging out of both arms, the inside of my mouth and they were talking about sticking one in through the exterior of the jaw. I mean really! It's 2007 and the instruments they use on your mouth still look like something that should be in a TOOL video on MTV. I started to get better yesterday and they cut me loose today. MY Oral surgeon was mad at me for going to ER on Saturday but I had a 101.5 temp, pain killers weren't working and I was getting sicker. I think he felt a little put out - tough. I felt a little put out by looking like elephant man for the past week. Several neighbors have been by to see how I'm doing and to ask if they could do anything to help. My response has been the same - Sure - you can mow my yard and clean my house. Since neither is currently being done I must assume they meant - can I do almost anything to help. Since I live in Madison I was forced to watch Air Moscow for 5 days (CNN) Some thoughts about the news - and other stuff 2) The DA in the Duke Lacrosse case should lose his ability to practice law. 3) Has Bush lost his mind on immigration? The Democrats want the bill passed so these people can do the work other Americans don't want to do? Does that fall under slavery or racism? Nobody better ever call me a racist again. We need to protect our borders even if we need to use armed dummies to scare people off. Hey! Don't laugh - it worked on Gilligan's Island. 4) Syria - why can't we just put the world out of Syria's misery. 5) Exit plan for Iraq - head east and fire every rocket (non nuke) we have until the remaining 10 people can only have slingshots for weapons. Don't stop heading east until we've crossed into Iran and can totally finish off Tehran. 7) If Hillary wins we can look forward to MediHill. 8) If our Healthcare is so bad then why do Brits fly to Florida when they're sick? You don't get time to sleep and get better. They come in at 5:45, wake you up and walk you like a dog. I didn't have a nurse! This must have been a fill in from a kennel club down the block.
