You'd have to come up with some better examples to illustrate your point to get me to see it.

Thom Hartman makes a point that in nature it observable that majority rules. For example when sheep are grazing they would tend to stay in an area and then when some would start to move on, when the moving group hit 51% the whole herd would move.

A second observation was made about when danger was introduced to the equation. If a tiger is on the scene then the mass moves when the consensus hits two thirds or 66%. This is said to be consistently observable in many different type of herd animals and in schools of fish also.
