"If you are saying that most educated people think that he has not politicized the attorney general's office I would beg to differ. " That is exactly what I'm saying. Gonzales did not politicize the attorney general's office because it was already politicized, which is well known by educated people. That is a simple fact, and Gonzales didn't do anything in the firings that was outside of precedent. I don't like it and I would prefer the justice department be separated into it's own body of government with checks and balances subject to congress, the pres, and the supremes, so that it couldn't be used as a political tool.
