Essentially. He'll find some minor semantic point and argue it ad infinitum. He can't lose an argument... he's an idealist!

I remember a string of "discussion" posts about if the Iraq war was "sustained offensive". That was a couple of years ago I think.

In a sense. He keeps arguing until you throw your hands up and stop responding. He then counts that as a win.
