Re : Trade War Ron Insana, one of the better commnetators on CNBC, said the talks with the Chinese on trade reminded him of the talks with Japan - lots of posturing, but no one with power with any real intention of screwing things up.

He said it was Kabuki.

So every goes through this dance, senior people get a chance to get out of the office, junior people get to stay in nice hotels, lots of photo ops, no trade war -

Or maybe a trade war over coated paper, galvanized paper clips, ans some other trivia.
