Spread over two years and announced.
The surprise rather was the Spain sales.
Anyway, Joint Statement on Gold limits to 500 tons/year. And this was also announced and scrutinized by many "observers".
Which failed to pinpoint the 400 tons the BoE sold (not participating in the Joint Statement).
No news of gold sales from the US, but ... is there still gold in the US beyond "deep storage" LOL.
