Ten is just looking at it in the wrong way. Asians earn MORE than the other minorities they compete with! They're WINNERS in America, the envy of blacks, hispanics and the rest! The blacks acknowledged this by burning down all the Korean groceries in their ghettos during the LA riots.

Ted, I also forgot to mention the impact English has on incomes. Most Asians are very book smart and have better English grammatical skills than everyone else, but when it comes to real-world communication, they still fall short. Doesn't help to be a genius if you can't communicate what you know to the rest of the world.

Having said that, I don't see anything which invalidates my view. It takes another generation or two before Asians are better represented in government, corporate exec positions, etc. It takes even longer to build legacies that rival those of the old guard white people. Rockerfeller, Carnegie, and even Gates and Hilton took a few generations.

There's a reason why "old money" is ... well, "old."

P.S. - The bottom line here is that the issue isn't as clear-cut as the old Jim Crow laws of the South.
