Our allies run the same systems made by Lockheed,Raytheon, etc! Do these companies sell to foreign
gov`t and customers?
Do you know what the word allies means?
Japan, South korea, France,England,etc!
The stuff is great! Are you capable of understanding what you have already read?
The Navy already accepted the prototype and has ordered 10 more units @ 50% of the size.
This has been sea tested.

This contract provides for the continuing development of advanced capabilities for ADEPT, the finalizing of an ADEPT Integrated Logistics Support Plan required for fleet fielding, and the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of ten (10) ADEPT(V)2 units which are half the size and weight of the original ADEPT(V)1 while maintaining the same functionality. The contract follows successful testing and evaluation of ADEPT on one AEGIS cruiser along with testing at the Navy's AN/SPY-1 Cruiser Modernization Test Facility in Moorestown, NJ. It is expected that the ADEPT equipment will initially be installed on AEGIS cruisers undergoing modernization with introduction into the destroyers to follow. The entire U.S. Navy AEGIS fleet consists of 22 cruisers and 62 destroyers.

Thats what they have.

OT - Conversely then, if the stuff was REALLY good(i.e. significant, meaningful, of strategic value and worth), wouldn't the Defense Dept say "Hey! this is cool stuff, and we can't have the enemy getting hold of this! You guys can ONLY sell it to us, no exporting!!" ??? LOL

Fact - US phase 2 began dosing on May 4, 2005 and announced positive results on March 7, 2005. We all know the results exceeded Adventrx's expected response rate of 25%. Bottom line, it only took 11 months to complete the entire study from start to finish. They announced some results as early as Jan 25, 2005. It only took 9 months to produce results from the inception of the trial.

Fact - European Phase 2 b trials began on May 31, 2005 and enrollment was completed on Sept 25, 2006. As of June 14, 2007 there are patients still on protocol. The last patients have been on protocol for 9 months now. To me, it's quite obvious these trials are going much better for Adventrx, measured by the length of time the patients have been on trial.

I can only assume that the successful treatment of these patients into the 9th month of monotherapy is a great thing for Cofactor. We all need to start thinking about how good it is to wait for the data. The longer we wait, the better the ttp, response rate and other preliminary data including the toxicity results. We can only assume it's a win win for efficacy and toxicity at this point.

Lockheed Martin Aegis Weapon System Demonstrates Combat Readiness During Joint Exercise With U.S., Norwegian and Spanish Navies
PR Newswire - June 18, 2007 8:00 AM ET

Lockheed Martin's (NYSE: LMT) Aegis Weapon System recently played a major role in the successful completion of the first-ever, three-nation joint Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT), involving the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gridley, the Spanish Navy frigate Mendez Nunez and Royal Norwegian Navy frigate Fridtjof Nansen. This also was the first CSSQT to include three versions of Lockheed Martin's SPY-1 naval radar family: SPY-1D(V); SPY-1D and SPY-1F.

During the CSSQT, the ships' Aegis Combat Systems were evaluated for combat readiness through comprehensive surface and anti-air warfare exercises, including manned raids and electronic attack scenarios, as well as thorough testing of the systems' tactical data link and air defense capabilities. The air defense testing was the culmination of the CSSQT, when the Aegis Weapon Systems on all three ships successfully engaged multiple missile targets. All three ships are equipped with Lockheed Martin's MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS).

The Fridtjof Nansen's participation marks the introduction of the SPY-1F radar system. SPY-1F is a smaller, lighter version of the SPY-1D radar system, providing robust performance with Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) and SM-2 missile capability on frigate and corvette-sized ships. The SPY-1F successfully detected and tracked all targets in Norway's CSSQT air defense scenarios.

"In addition to unmatched capabilities against all threats at sea, these qualification trials emphasize the global interoperability Aegis provides the U.S. Navy and its allies," said Orlando Carvalho, vice president and general manager of Lockheed Martin's Surface/Sea-Based Missile Defense business in Moorestown. "The contributions of our industry partners, especially those in Spain and Norway, have been critical factors in the success of the production, testing and fielding of these ships."

The Aegis Weapon System includes the SPY-1 radar, the Navy's most advanced computer-controlled radar system. When paired with the Lockheed Martin's MK 41 VLS, it is capable of delivering missiles for every mission and threat environment in naval warfare. The Aegis Weapon System is currently deployed on more than 83 ships around the globe with more than 20 additional ships contracted or planned. In addition to the United States, Spain and Norway, Aegis is the weapon system of choice for Australia, Japan and Korea
