Yes, there is a huge doublestandard....and i doubt it will go away. And i am afraid being careful is not enough. People seem to only be sympathetic to the Jewish when Jews are seen to be the oppressed. If that is the case ,Israel needs to alter its public image. Israelis need to be seen as being better than their enemies...more humane..more forgiving...more generouse. This is not a judgement on Israel....rather it is recognizing an unfair but unchangable aspect of human predudice.
