First off - I never said I had all the answers. I'm not sure how much red tape I'd put them through before becoming a citizen but it would be a lot more than just walking in the back door. Wages will be determined by the market and minimum wage standards. Why should they be paid less than minimum if they're a citizen? You want these people to come in and be our laborers in crappy jobs. I'd rather see them thrive and become Americans. You ask how much it will cost us for them to become citizens? I don't have the answer but what we're doing now isn't just cheap - think past the cost of an apple because we're being ridden hard for healthcare and a host of other things WE pay for already
