I don't who or what is responsible for the creation of the universe, but I cannot accept that it is a supernatural being ...

People who don't care, simply don't care. People who can't accept this or that, care very much.

who cares about me and my daily behaviour.

What are you afraid of?

"You are religious because you're afraid you're only going to wind up in the dirt with me."

I'm not afraid of winding up in the dirt with you at all. I accepted my mortality long ago. If, I had foreknowledge that today would be my last day on earth or that I have another 50 years it would make no difference about how I feel about the dirt bath. It is coming and it is my fervent hope that it will be the outcome of a life that has been worth living.

The difference in our expressed view points is that I don't imagine anything being dismissed by dirt. You hope past lies, or your ill treatment of others, will somehow just go away, they will be buried in the dirt with you. OK, but that doesn't seem to be borne out by our everyday experience does it. They seem to find a way to surface, don't they. Nothing stays buried. So we see you getting defensive, denying the obvious, speculating on false pretence, pretending the substance of life and reason don't matter in discussions such as these, because you probably don't figure it much matters in the long run. I do. I figure if you sacrifice your honor now, you have nothing when all is said and done. I figure, you must live with everything you've said and done, or not said and done, when all is said and done, and that you must live with it for eternity.
