I was watching the financial channel and heard one of the stiffs explain that costs must be cut so that GM and Ford could sell more cars. Outside of the rejuvenated Cadillac and the Corvette, I don't see an appealing GM or Ford car. Chrysler isn't worth mentioning.

Ford and GM management should seek an "earmark" grant so they can buy Toyota and bring Toyota to its knees.

Could you explain how the UAW keeps US designed cars off the safest cars list?

Right.. CNN knows all about cars. LOL!! Try the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Picks. Quite a few Ford products there (including the Mercury Sable/Montego that my wife drives. About the safest large car around)..

or.. Twenty-four 2007 model year vehicles were recently awarded the highest rating, five stars, in front and side crash testing under the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) new assessment program..

These include vehicles from Ford, GM, and Chrysler..

Oh yes, and you were going on about how to die in a politically correct manner, crashing in a CAFE'nated mini car. Read all about it here before you start yapping about what other people should or shouldn't drive..
