Not likely, under normal circumstances.

However the tone of the news release from the BOJ doesn't seem to indicate they are too worried about inflation, or perhaps they want considerable more evidence before they raise.

that's the prevalent current view.......the Japanese CB is much more constricted by governmental pressures.........

but we will see an interest rate increase in early August.

and then you have to wonder about the rapidity of subsequent rate rises.
