"Syria? Buried? you really think a guy like Saddam would just give them up ??" If he felt he had no other choice? In a second. Whatever else he was, he wasn't stupid. As far as Syria or being buried goes, note that no one has stepped forward to back either of theories. No documents have been found that even hinted at it. It is hard to believe that something like either of those could be done and there aren't even rumors about it. Nor have they been used in the civil war or against our troops. As far as Syria goes, well, it isn't lead by a moron, either. It would have been a huge risk to take those weapons from Saddam. And for what? So when Mossad finds out about it the Israelis, at a minimum, would be all over them. Likely the US, also. There is no upside for Syria. And a lot of downside. So that doesn't pass the smell test either.
