That is a decision to be made at the local level by the local school board....I would not care one way or the other....there's no harm in children learning about both ...

It could be. Choosing ignorance usually falls more into the right to freedom of expression than an expression of free will. It could be an expression of 'free-will' if when given the opportunity for greater knowledge you chose ignorance knowing it violates your better nature.

I would not give blanket approval on your question. How do you qualify the subject of 'Creationism'? I suspect you mean religious dogma of a particular supreme being, creating the universe for in a particular way, with particular interests in the outcome, as fact. I doubt I could support that.
