LOL, what a dope. You assume the entire SS trust fund would have been invested in the best funds, at the bottom of the market. This is right up there with your "analysis" that tax rates are key to wealth in the US while the dollar crashes by 50%. Bush stock market returns have been HORRIBLE. The worst since Carter. The thing to do was, the minute Bush showed up, SHORT EVERYTHING based in dollars. Then wait until his war inspired spending spree finally spent us dry (where we are NOW).
