You refuse to recognize my distinction between being anti-administration and anti-American. I don't think that is a ridiculous distinction, but I'm tired of repeating it to deaf ears.

So fine. So we were really "pro-German" during WWII, having no basic emnity with the German people as people. We hoped the Germans would "regain their balance" too. In fact, we made them do so, by force.

Your distinction is as stupid and meaningless as the claim of not being "anti-German" by fighting the Nazis. Sure, you might think that Germany was a great country with a great history, but you currently hated the entire government, the entire policy, and all the people who supported it -- which was a vast majority until late in WWII -- and you devoted yourself to fighting Germany and its ambitions anyway you could.

Same deal with today's anti-Americans.
