Hey Ork: it's not so bad. I called the Global Trading desk at Schwab and asked the agent about those ADR fees. He said, get this, he said that the fees would range between 1 and 3 cents per trade!

I was charged a small fee on the latest distribution from Nestle. It was listed as a fee, separate from the foreign tax from the dividend. On a $422 div, I was charged a 60c fee. This is probably not the fee you are mentioning. But it was the first one I have noticed. Paid this month.

One way to get US citizens to keep their money home I guess. I'm about 65% in non-US investments. Money Penny
