Well yes, that was the exact point Tenet and Black tried to warn Rice of BEFORE 9-11 when they went to her with the information that bin Laden was about to attack America. They tried feverishly to get through to Rice that this attack was coming and soon. ......Meanwhile, Bush went to read to little kids. A lot of cheap shots there. Bush's reading to school kids on that morning had nothing to do with the attack occurring. Nor did general warnings of an attack coming give Rice or Bush the kind of intelligence necessary to prevent it. Who is bin Laden? We sure took our eye off the man who deserves your hate and my hate. We should concentrate our hate on him - not each other Americans on the left should concentrate their hate on bin Laden rather than the Bush administration.

Tenet was CIA director under Clinton. Why did Clinton not take out Osama? Found this site interesting-----Was particularly fascinated with the portion on John O'Neill, FBI and Former FBI agent who took over security of the WTC just before the WTC was destroyed. O'Neill, my interpretation, believed that the WTC would be hit again since the terrorist did not succeed in 1993. The first attempt on the WTC was about a month after the killings at the gate of the CIA in Virginia. O'Neill noted that the WTC did not even have the capacity for caller Identification on their phones despite receiving daily calls of threats.
