That isn't true, and I suspect you know it isn't true. "Everything" is quite a lot, and all sorts of things, some of them quite wild, where said by the British press.


Huh? I am not talking about the tabloids. I can not think of one major instance where the Brits got it wrong. A classic example was the issue of torture. The Brits began reporting that torture existed in both Afghanistan and Iraq. The White House denied it over and over again. We all know how that turned out.
