He didn't get punished......he just couldn't advertise that covering vents keeps out rodents

He couldn't advertise that he's covering entrenches to try to keep out the rodents and other pests, which is exactly what he was doing. If you ever run a business I wonder if you'll still see a government edict against your being able to advertise what you do, as something other than a punishment.


There are reasons why states require that vendors be licensed; the primary one being to protect the consumer. I'm sorry if that concept upsets you. Unfortunately, in a capitalist society, its not unusual to run into an unscrupulous vendor.
