Yes, I'm sure David Gadahn loves his mother, apple pie, and the first girl he ever kissed. That doesn't make him any less anti-American. Nadine is right, no matter how absurd you spin the discussion into tighter rings of absurdity.

You can hate Bush and everything he's done and still love almost all of America. I'm not talking about hating Bush's real policies. I'm talking about believing that Bush is a fascist mass-murderer whose objective is to seize dictatorial powers. How do you love the 50% of American voters who voted him in twice? How do you love anything about America when you think its entire democratically elected government is so evil? And when believing America is evil, you lend yourself to spreading the propaganda of Syria and Iran, like Sy Hersch does? You keep redefining the terms to run away from the obvious conclusions.
