The quality of jobs is generally fine.

Low end income isn't down, although its barely up, while high end income is up a lot more. This inequality could account for some of the feelings that we're going in the wrong direction, but most of it is from the factors I've mentioned (and from dislike of Bush, but that's largely because of Iraq as well).
