You are trying to equate the "anti-Americanism" of the hard Left with a dislike of gays on the right. "Apples and Oranges." I was equating them only to the extent that they are examples of things that are under the radar of the left and right. Flag waving is of no interest to the left. Sensitivity to gays is of no interest to the right. They're just off the radar. Edit: When Coulter makes a comment, she doesn't stop and think "will this offend gays?" any more than when Rosie makes a comment, stopping to think "will this sound unpatriotic?"
