I have a new idea on that subject. Something needs to be done about it. Otherwise SI will become more and more polarized. I can see why admin would not want to do that because the programming would probably be difficult to monitor the age of every ban and ignore. A lot of resources spent on an unprofitable service. An easier approach would be instead of programming to monitor the age of every ban and ignore to program a Jubilee date every three months that would automatically cancel all the bans and ignores. Program to reset the bans and ignores 4 times a year. That way there is some balance put in place that doesn't exist now. And the ban happy would have to do a little work instead of just fire and forget (forever).
