The scale needs to be understood, else people will look to the past to try to gauge what is going on today. The changes in the world economy today, dwarfs past so-called economic 'miracles'. I am gauging here it would take a decade for people to see this is a change for real. That because once China changed in 1979, it took 20 years for people to realize the country has arrived. Once 2.5 billion people is thrown into the world's economy. When they are within their demographic window and 70% of them are working, the past economy of the G-7 can't gauge the impact.
